A few days have passed since Election Day, and while the outcome was not what we hoped for, I wanted to take a moment to share something far more important than the results.

Thank you.

Thank you for believing in our vision for Tallahassee. Thank you for your financial support, your encouragement, your volunteer hours, your prayers, your phone calls, your endorsements, and your willingness to invest in a campaign built on the belief that our city can always strive to do better.

Campaigns are often measured by votes cast on a single day. But I believe they should also be measured by the conversations started, the communities brought together, and the values championed along the way. By those standards, I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished together.

Running for Mayor was one of the greatest honors of my life. Throughout this journey, I had the opportunity to listen to residents from every corner of our community, hear their hopes and concerns, and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of Tallahassee. Those experiences have only strengthened my commitment to serving this city and the people who call it home.

I am especially grateful to those who invested their resources in this effort. I never took your support for granted. Campaigns require tremendous faith from supporters, and I remain deeply humbled that so many of you placed your trust in me and this campaign.

While this chapter has come to a close, my commitment to Tallahassee has not. Public service is larger than any election, and I look forward to continuing the work of strengthening our community, supporting its people, and helping build a brighter future for generations to come.
