Meet Daryl

Daryl Parks was raised by a hardworking mother who taught him the values of perseverance, family, and giving back to the community that raised him. Growing up in Tallahassee, he saw firsthand how too many families faced barriers that held them back and knew leadership should be about opening doors, not closing them.

So he worked his way through school as a dishwasher and fast‑food worker, becoming the first in his family to attend college and graduating from Florida A&M University before earning his law degree from Florida State University.

For decades, Daryl Parks has fought for working families in Tallahassee and across the nation. Now, he’s ready to lead our city forward by lowering costs, strengthening neighborhoods, and ensuring every family has a fair shot at building a good life here.
